Job summary

Jobtailor is seeking a senior Cloud Security Architect to define, govern, and evolve cloud security architectures across AWS, Azure, and Google Cloud in multi-cloud and hybrid environments.

You will partner with cloud engineering, infrastructure, cybersecurity, and business stakeholders to deliver secure, resilient cloud solutions and lead architecture reviews for containers, Kubernetes, and SaaS deployments. The role emphasizes Zero Trust and secure-by-design principles in global teams.

Qualifications

• Define and govern cloud security architectures and controls across cloud environments.
• Partner with stakeholder teams to deliver secure cloud solutions.
• Design and maintain cloud security architectures, patterns, and reference models across multi-cloud and hybrid-cloud environments.
• Integrate security controls into cloud platforms and services.
• Lead security architecture reviews for cloud transformations, containers, and Kubernetes.
• Define and govern IAM, network security, data protection, encryption, logging, and monitoring.
• Identify cloud security risks and mitigation strategies aligned with risk management and regulations.
• Promote Zero Trust and secure-by-design cloud security principles.
• Evaluate emerging cloud security tech and trends for future architectures.
• Support enterprise cloud migration and modernization efforts.
• Collaborate with global teams across cloud engineering, infrastructure, security, risk, and business.

Responsibilities

• Define, implement, and govern cloud security architectures, standards, and security controls across public, private, and SaaS environments.
• Partner with cloud engineering, application development, infrastructure, cybersecurity, and business stakeholders to deliver secure, resilient cloud solutions.
• Design and maintain cloud security architectures, standards, patterns, and reference models across multi-cloud and hybrid-cloud environments.
• Integrate security controls into cloud platforms and services.
• Lead security architecture reviews for cloud transformation initiatives, cloud-native applications, containers, Kubernetes platforms, and SaaS solutions.
• Define and govern cloud security capabilities including IAM, network security, data protection, encryption, logging, monitoring, and security automation.
• Identify cloud security risks and develop mitigation strategies aligned with enterprise risk management and regulatory requirements.
• Drive adoption of Zero Trust, secure-by-design, and cloud-native security principles.
• Evaluate emerging cloud security technologies and industry trends to support future-state architecture strategies.
• Support enterprise cloud migration and modernization initiatives.
• Collaborate with global cloud engineering, infrastructure, security, risk, and business teams.
