Job summary

The Aspen Group is seeking a Senior Cloud Security Engineer to architect, deploy and operate a secure cloud infrastructure across multiple brands. You will own cloud security standards and drive security controls for SaaS, IaaS and PaaS, partnering with engineering and product teams.

This role requires deep hands-on cloud security experience (7+ years) across GCP/AWS/Azure, and strong scripting, IaC, and incident response skills. Chicago area preferred.

Qualifications

• 7+ years in cybersecurity with cloud security focus.
• Experience with GCP, Azure, or AWS in regulated environments.
• Experience deploying CNAPP and CSPM solutions.
• Proficient in IaC (Terraform) and CI/CD security practices.
• Experience with Kubernetes security and container hardening.
• Strong Python/PowerShell scripting and automation.

Responsibilities

• Define and maintain cloud security baseline across cloud footprints.
• Plan and operate security controls for SaaS, IaaS, PaaS.
• Lead detection content design and incident post-mortems.
• Govern cloud security policy, standards and guardrails.
• Own cloud security program roadmap across brands.
