Google Cloud is seeking a Security Engineer to join the Cloud CISO Security Engineering team. You will oversee security assessments, code reviews, and vulnerability testing to help Google teams build more secure products and infrastructure.

You will embed with product teams, design secure protocols, and mentor engineers, contributing to a broad range of stacks. This role offers substantial impact and a comprehensive benefits package.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience.
• 10 years in security engineering and computer/network security.
• 10 years in security assessments or threat modeling or design reviews.
• 10 years coding in general-purpose languages.
• 10 years leading technical teams or risk analysis.

Responsibilities

• Embed within product teams to co-design secure cloud products and infrastructure.
• Review and develop secure development practices for engineers and support staff.
• Perform security reviews, reproduce and remediate vulnerabilities.
• Develop security strategy for Google Cloud Platform products.
• Mentor security engineers and product-team leaders.
