Job summary

Deloitte's Cloud Cyber Risk practice in the United States is seeking a Cloud Security Architect, Senior Manager to advise clients on cloud security strategy, architecture, implementation, and operations across AWS, Azure, GCP, and Oracle Cloud. You will lead engagements, mentor practitioners, and help organizations manage cyber risk while enabling cloud transformations.

The role involves cross-functional coordination, client-facing delivery, and potential travel up to 50%.

Qualifications

• 8+ years of experience in technical consulting and solution architecture for cloud security engagements.
• 4+ years designing and implementing security solutions in AWS, Azure, GCP, or Oracle Cloud environments.
• 4+ years designing enterprise cloud security architectures and strategies.
• 4+ years of CNAPP, CSPM, or CWPP technologies.
• Bachelor's degree in a technical field (computer science, cybersecurity, IT, engineering).
• Ability to travel up to 50% on average based on client work.
• Limited immigration sponsorship may be available.
• Experience serving clients in a consulting environment (preferred).
• Certified Cloud Security Professional or cloud architect certification (preferred).
• Experience with virtualization security across compute, network, storage, endpoint, or application layers (preferred).
• Experience designing IAM technologies and services (preferred).
• Experience managing enterprise security infrastructure and SIEM/IPS/WAF (preferred).
• Knowledge of ISO 27001/27018, NIST CSF/800-53, PCI DSS, SOC 2, HIPAA, SOX, GLBA (preferred).

Responsibilities

• Lead cloud cyber risk engagements across assessment, architecture, implementation, and post-implementation activities.
• Advise clients on cloud security architectures, configuration standards, and risk mitigation strategies across major clouds.
• Oversee project workstreams, including technical assessments, solution designs, security recommendations, and delivery coordination.
• Support the implementation and optimization of cloud security technologies and DevSecOps controls.
• Contribute to business development, thought leadership, and talent development including mentoring.
