Akima Data Management (ADM) is seeking a highly skilled and mission‑driven Senior Cloud Security Architect to design, secure, and optimize enterprise cloud environments. In this role, you will architect resilient cloud solutions, enforce security standards, and ensure that Department of War (DoW) Office of Inspector General (OIG) cloud‑based systems uphold the highest levels of confidentiality, integrity, and availability.
The ideal candidate blends deep cloud security expertise with strong architectural discipline, analytical thinking, and the ability to guide modernization across complex, multi‑domain environments. You will define cloud security architectures, integrate zero‑trust principles, assess emerging technologies, and ensure that cloud services align with DoW OIG’s mission objectives and enterprise security frameworks.
This role is homeported out of Alexandria, VA, and provides support to cybersecurity as required. This role is critical in ensuring the confidentiality, integrity, and availability of OIG’s systems and data.
