Qualifications

• Experience leading architecture for complex platform, cloud, container, or middleware portfolios.
• Deep knowledge in runtime domains with Kubernetes, Cloud Foundry, API management, and event streaming.
• Strong understanding of distributed systems, security, observability, and resiliency.
• Ability to translate architecture decisions into actionable roadmaps and investments.
• Proven influence across Product, Engineering, Security and vendor teams.

Responsibilities

• Define and maintain the Cloud Runtimes target architecture and multi-year roadmap.
• Lead architecture direction for enterprise Kubernetes, Cloud Foundry, Apigee and Kafka.
• Sequence modernization across platforms while preserving availability and security.
• Translate standards into practical portfolio patterns and engineering requirements.
• Partner with Product/Engineering to prioritize outcomes and convert direction into work.
• Establish reusable patterns for onboarding, API enablement, observability, and DR.
• Align CloudForge Platform with runtime strategy and market modernization programs.
• Lead architecture decisions, risk assessments, and build-vs-buy evaluations.
• Coach solution engineers and architects across runtime teams.
