Chaos, Inc. is building a secure cloud platform behind advanced radar systems. You will join a small, collaborative team designing and operating backend services and cloud infrastructure that ingests, processes, and delivers mission-critical sensor data at scale.

The role emphasizes ownership, shaping architecture, and delivering reliable, secure systems. Collaboration with software, hardware, and systems engineers is essential for end-to-end capabilities.

Qualifications

• Proficiency in Python and modern backend development.
• Experience with Azure or another major cloud platform.
• Familiar with Infrastructure as Code (Terraform) and container orchestration (Kubernetes).
• Knowledge of real-time data pipelines or distributed systems.
• Willingness to work across the stack when needed.

Responsibilities

• Design, build, and operate secure, scalable Azure infrastructure for distributed radar systems.
• Develop high-performance backend services for real-time sensor data with low latency and high reliability.
• Define infrastructure as code and automate deployments using modern DevOps practices.
• Own observability, monitoring, and operational readiness of production systems.
• Contribute to platform architecture decisions to support scale and maintainability.
