Job summary

FICO is seeking a Senior Software Engineer to lead end-to-end QA for cloud-based enterprise applications in Ashburn, VA. You will shape test strategies, develop automation frameworks, and mentor junior engineers while partnering with Product, Development, Analytics, and Platform teams.

The role requires strong experience in performance, E2E, and non-functional testing, with hands-on work in CI/CD, AWS, Grafana/Prometheus, and containerized environments.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Computer Science, or related field.
• Eight years progressive software/QA experience with automation.
• Experience designing and driving test automation strategies across complex projects.

Responsibilities

• Lead end-to-end performance and functional QA for cloud-based enterprise apps.
• Develop and maintain test automation framework and CI/CD integration.
• Mentor junior engineers and provide engineering leadership across product teams.
• Collaborate with Product, Development, and QA to translate requirements into test plans.
• Document results and metrics for stakeholders and executives.
