Overview
Our Client, a Commercial Banking company, is looking for a Senior Cloud Project Manager for their Remote location.
Responsibilities
- Analyzes and collectively manages variances to the program plan and overall portfolio and makes recommendation and/or creates action plan to mitigate negative variances or to resolve issues.
- Prepares dashboard reporting to identify and communicate the health of the project portfolio for use by key executives.
- Plans and coordinates closely with LOB/function managers and subject matter experts.
- Ensures that plans and resource assignments are created and work progress is report via status reports
- Works closely with and provides direction to workstream leads to support program needs.
- Follows Client risk management plan for the project and ensures adherence to company and business unit requirements.
- Proactively identifies risks and develops solutions and/or processes and ensures necessary risk mitigation steps are built into the processes.
- Readily recognizes solution and determines at what point issues require escalation to management.
- Leads teams of internal and/or external resources on a project basis.
- Complies with the Client Project Management Lifecyle (PMLC), Technology Delivery Lifecycle (TDLC) and other corporate standards.
- Prepares documentation/presentations to support overall workstream efforts and internal reporting routines, as needed.
Requirements
- Strong planning (tasks and resource assignments), problem solving and analytical skills, with diligence and superior attention to detail sufficient to withstand scrutiny from leadership as well as program sponsor and program manager.
- PMP certification
- Experience interacting with Risk and Internal Auditors
- Background in Finance technology
- AWS / Cloud Migration
