Job summary

Odin Labs, Inc. is hiring a Senior Cloud Infrastructure Engineer to build and operate the Google Cloud foundation for our developers. You’ll own architecture, networking, identity, delivery, and production operations in a hands-on role within Platform Engineering.

You will lead major projects from design through production, contribute in Terraform and code, and build self-service paths to ship without cloud-operations bottlenecks.

Qualifications

• Production Google Cloud foundation spanning multiple projects and regions.
• Terraform as production system with reusable modules and drift handling.
• CI/CD pipelines and developer tooling that improve release safety and recovery.
• Design and diagnose cloud networks including routing and private connectivity.
• IAM and governance translating security requirements into cloud controls.
• GKE and Cloud SQL at production scale with observability and recovery.
• Participation in on-call incidents and durable infra improvements.
• Experience writing automation and self-service paths for developers.
• Leadership of engineers through major infrastructure projects.

Responsibilities

• Lead cloud-infrastructure projects from design to production.
• Design, build, and operate Google Cloud foundations (org/project structure, compute, storage, services).
• Build reusable Terraform foundations for safe, repeatable changes.
• Improve CI/CD pipelines and delivery tooling for faster, safer releases.
• Design and troubleshoot secure cloud networking across boundaries.
• Implement IAM and governance for access control and audits.
• Operate platforms with provider updates, alerts, upgrades, and capacity.
• Develop self-service modules and documentation to reduce tickets.
• Manage on-call rotations and learn from incidents to improve architecture.
