Job summary

Baker Tilly US is seeking an experienced cloud/platform engineer to design, implement, and operate multi-cloud infrastructure across AWS and Azure. The role emphasizes IaC, automation, and reliability ownership to improve efficiency and security of client engagements.

Responsibilities include leading engineering patterns, contributing to CI/CD practices for infrastructure, and mentoring teams while ensuring security and compliance controls are in place.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree required.
• 5+ years in cloud/platform engineering or related roles.
• Hands-on with at least two major clouds (AWS/Azure/GCP/OCI).
• Strong IaC experience (Terraform preferred, Ansible).
• Scripting and automation skills (Python/PowerShell/Bash).
• Experience with CI/CD for infrastructure delivery.
• Strong ownership: incident response and remediation.

Responsibilities

• Design, implement, and operate multi-cloud infrastructure (AWS/Azure and others).
• Build and maintain IaC modules and standardized patterns.
• Create automation workflows to reduce manual tasks.
• Own reliability outcomes and lead root-cause analyses.
• Support security, compliance, and audit readiness; automate patching and resilience.
