Job summary

Baker Tilly US is seeking a Senior Cloud Engineer to own multi-cloud platform engineering and operations. You will design and operate scalable infrastructure across AWS and Azure, implementing foundational services, security controls, and repeatable patterns.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree required.
• 5+ years in cloud engineering or related roles.
• Hands-on depth in at least two major cloud providers (AWS/Azure/GCP/OCI).
• Strong IaC experience with Terraform and/or Ansible.
• Strong scripting/automation (Python, PowerShell, Bash).
• Experience implementing or significantly improving CI/CD practices for infrastructure delivery.
• Strong operational ownership: incident response, troubleshooting, root cause analysis, and preventative remediation.

Responsibilities

• Design, implement, and operate scalable cloud infrastructure across AWS and Azure.
• Develop and maintain IaC modules with Terraform/Ansible.
• Build automation workflows to reduce manual tasks and improve reliability.
• Lead reliability outcomes and runbooks; monitor and alerting standards.
• Support security, compliance and audit readiness (SOC, HIPAA, CMMC).
• Mentor engineers and provide technical guidance across teams.
