Job summary

Fidelity Investments is seeking a Senior Platform / DevOps Engineer to design, deploy, and operate large-scale, cloud-native infrastructure. You will build self-service platforms on Kubernetes, automate deployment pipelines, and drive best practices across multiple teams in an Agile environment.

The role emphasizes proficiency with Kubernetes, CI/CD tooling, IaC, and observability, with secondary focus on Java/Spring Boot microservices and Kafka-based event-streaming.

Qualifications

• 5+ years designing, deploying and operating production Kubernetes clusters.
• Bachelor's or Master's in Engineering or CS.
• CI/CD pipelines with Jenkins or GitHub Actions.
• IaC with Terraform or Ansible.
• Observability with Prometheus, Grafana, ELK/OpenSearch.
• Cloud experience: AWS/Azure/GCP.
• Experience with Istio/Linkerd and API gateways.
• Agile methods (Kanban/SCRUM).

Responsibilities

• Build, automate, and operate large-scale, event-driven platforms.
• Create self-service developer platforms and templates on Kubernetes.
• Design and maintain CI/CD pipelines and automation around deployments.
• Collaborate across teams to deliver scalable software solutions.
