Job summary

Hewlett Packard Enterprise is seeking a Senior Cloud Developer to design, develop, and maintain enterprise-class software spanning on‑prem and cloud services. You will scale, optimize, and evolve the platform, including Morpheus and VM Essentials, with emphasis on cloud-native design and secure workload isolation.

The role requires leadership, mentoring, and collaboration with product, operations and QA teams, plus hands-on work with Java/Groovy and server-management interfaces.

Qualifications

• Expert-level proficiency in Java, Groovy, or other JVM languages.
• Hands-on experience with BMC/Redfish protocols for server management and automation.
• Skills in L2/L3 networking programming and cloud service design.

Responsibilities

• Design, and develop highly scalable and resilient backend systems using Java, Groovy, or other JVM-based languages, focusing on cloud-native principles.
• Lead the design and implementation of integrations with server management platforms, including BMC/Redfish, to automate server provisioning and lifecycle management.
• Develop orchestration services interacting with Compute and Networking devices through their REST/CLI interfaces.
• Engineer and optimize L2/L3 networking programming, enabling dynamic configuration, monitoring, and troubleshooting of network infrastructure.
• Define and enforce best practices in software architecture, code quality, security, and DevOps across the engineering team.
• Mentor and guide engineers, conduct code reviews, and foster a culture of technical excellence and continuous improvement.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams (product, operations, QA) to align technical solutions with business goals.
• Troubleshoot and resolve complex issues spanning server, storage, networking, and cloud domains.
• Document architectural decisions, system designs, and operational procedures to ensure long-term maintainability and knowledge sharing.]
