Job summary

Federal Express Corporation is seeking a Senior Cloud Engineer to design, build, and operate a secure, scalable Google Cloud foundation and to lead migrations from Azure to GCP. You will drive architecture, tooling, and governance with a strong emphasis on automation and reliability.

The role requires hands-on delivery of end-to-end migrations, networking expertise, and leadership in multi-team collaboration to ensure cost control, compliance, and performance at enterprise scale.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in computer science, engineering, or information systems or equivalent experience.
• Five to seven years of cloud engineering experience with leadership in planning or consulting.
• Hands-on experience designing/operating cloud foundations and migrations to GCP.
• Certifications: Google Professional Cloud Architect strongly preferred.

Responsibilities

• Design, build, and operate a secure, scalable Google Cloud foundation and drive Azure-to-GCP migrations.
• Lead network and hybrid connectivity design including VPCs, Interconnect, VPN, and DNS/IPAM.
• Migrate compute/GKE workloads and data services across cloud environments.
• Implement security, IAM, and FinOps, and develop runbooks and migration playbooks.
