Job summary

IRALOGIX is seeking a Senior Cloud Platform Engineer focused on AWS to design, implement, and maintain cloud infrastructure powering our scalable platforms. You will work under the Senior Director of Platform Architecture, ensuring security, performance, and cost efficiency across services.

Lead architecture discussions with software, site reliability, and security teams, and implement best practices for reliability and automation. This role is remote with collaboration across time zones.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, IT, or related field (or equivalent work experience).
• AWS Certified Solutions Architect or similar certification is strongly preferred.
• Proven experience in designing and managing AWS cloud services with expertise in EKS, Fargate, MQ, RDS, and Redshift.
• Proficiency in Docker and Kubernetes.
• Strong knowledge of IaC and automation tools.
• Excellent problem-solving and collaborative skills.
• Must be US citizen, permanent resident, or eligible to work in the US.

Responsibilities

• Designs, deploys, and manages AWS EKS clusters for high availability and scalability.
• Works with AWS ECS (Fargate) to implement serverless container orchestration.
• Configures message brokers (Amazon MQ, ActiveMQ, RabbitMQ) for distributed applications.
• Manages and tunes Amazon RDS for SQL databases with high availability.
• Implements Redshift data warehousing for analytics.
• Develops infrastructure as code using CloudFormation, Terraform, or AWS CDK.
• Sets up CloudWatch and Datadog for health, performance, and security monitoring.
• Collaborates with internal teams to match business needs with AWS services.
• Applies the AWS Well-Architected Framework to ensure security and reliability.
