Job summary

Amazon Development Center U.S., Inc. in Denver, CO is hiring a Senior Software Development Engineer to lead development and operations for AWS Managed Grafana, Managed Prometheus, Wickr, and Kinesis Video Streams.

You will design, deploy, monitor, and automate infrastructure, tools, and software to deliver a highly available and resilient platform for customers and our workloads. This role requires a TS/SCI clearance with polygraph, with sponsorship provided for each government agency involved.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of non-internship professional software development experience.
• 5+ years of programming with at least one software programming language experience.
• 5+ years of leading design or architecture of new and existing systems.

Responsibilities

• Design, deploy, monitor, and automate infrastructure, tools and software to provide a highly-available and resilient platform for our customers' and our team's workloads.
• This position involves on-call responsibilities, typically for one week in every six. We don’t like getting paged in the middle of the night or on the weekend, so we work to ensure that our systems are fault tolerant.
• We will sponsor for a TS/SCI clearance with polygraph as required.
