A leading global investment firm is seeking a talented Cloud Platform Engineer to join their innovative team. The role involves building and managing cloud architectures while collaborating closely with team members to implement cutting-edge strategies. Ideal candidates will have deep knowledge of AWS, GCP, and Azure and be motivated by challenges in a fast-paced environment.
Sixth Street is looking for a talented Cloud Platform Engineer interested in growing their career in a small engineering team with big goals. Being able to think on your feet while seeing the near-, mid- and long-term impact of your decisions is a must for successful candidates. You may find yourself juggling net new reference architecture builds in AWS Cloud Development Kit (CDK), Azure Blueprints, GCP Deployment Manager, HashiCorp Terraform, writing Identity and Access Manager (IAM) policies, building GitHub Actions (GHA) workflows, instrumenting net new code bases, deploying Cloud Custodian policies, remediating security incidents, teaching developers about AWS, GCP or Azure or working with and managing external vendors to implement net new technologies. When things get hard, the successful candidate will know when to delegate to other team members, when to automate workflows to scale themselves, when to ask for help and when to say “No.” We act as One Team pushing each other towards a better tomorrow for our Sixth Street Technology Platform: are you up for the challenge?
