Job summary

Contoro Robotics, an Austin-based startup, seeks a Senior DevOps Engineer to scale and harden our Cloud Platform infrastructure, enabling real-time robot operation and AI training workloads.

You will own AWS-based implementations, drive secure access, containerized services, and observability stacks while collaborating with software, hardware, and AI teams to deliver reliable deployments in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of hands-on experience with AWS, Linux, Terraform, and Python.
• Ownership of production infrastructure projects.
• Proficient with Docker, Docker Compose, and Terraform.
• Experience with messaging protocols (Kafka, MQTT, WebSockets).
• Deep knowledge of scalable data stores (SQL, Redis, Timeseries).
• Passion for CI/CD workflows and automated testing pipelines.

Responsibilities

• Lead Cloud Platform Infrastructure across web services, fleet network, and CI/CD pipelines.
• Migrate services to AWS cloud-based infrastructure and design secure access.
• Manage GPU clusters for real-time and batch AI training.
• Track KPIs for build speed, uptime, and deployment cadence.
• Collaborate with software, hardware, and AI teams to integrate infra into product lifecycle.
