Job summary

Accenture Federal Services seeks a Principal Cloud Architect to serve as the senior technical authority for our secure cloud platform organization. You will shape cloud architecture strategy and lead a team across mission areas to design, build, and deliver secure cloud capabilities for government customers in demanding environments.

Qualifications

• Seven years of progressive cloud engineering and architecture experience.
• Experience as primary technical authority or lead architect on large, complex programs in classified or regulated environments.
• Hands-on design and implementation of secure cloud architectures on AWS GovCloud, Azure Government, or equivalent platforms.

Responsibilities

• Provide technical vision and architecture leadership for cloud initiatives.
• Engage with mission partners and government stakeholders, translating concepts for non-technical audiences.
• Mentor engineers, define growth paths and engineering standards.
• Guide delivery planning, release management, and risk mitigation in line with program commitments.
• Drive security, compliance, and governance, including Zero Trust adoption.
