Tata Consultancy Services Limited in Jacksonville, FL is seeking a Senior Platform Engineer to drive patch management and platform reliability across Linux and Windows ecosystems. You will design, implement, and automate patching, governance, and release processes for production systems.

Ideal candidates will have 10+ years in IT with 5+ years in platform engineering, strong scripting skills, proficiency with CI/CD tooling, IaC, and cloud platforms, and a proven track record mentoring engineers

Qualifications

• 10+ years of IT experience with 5+ years in platform engineering, infrastructure operations, DevOps, or patch management.
• Experience managing enterprise-scale patching across Linux and Windows.
• Design, test, certify, and release infrastructure changes in production.
• Strong scripting and automation skills across Python, Bash, PowerShell, Groovy or related languages.
• Hands-on with CI/CD tooling and configuration management (Ansible, Terraform).
• Cloud experience with GCP preferred; Azure or AWS beneficial.

Responsabilités

• Design, test, certify, and maintain OS patching solutions and patch catalogs.
• Integrate vulnerability assessment, security validation, and compliance checks.
• Collaborate with cybersecurity and risk teams to remediate vulnerabilities.
• Lead technical initiatives, mentor engineers, and drive continuous improvement.
• Provide governance and operational reporting for patching activities.
