Job summary

Omnissa, LLC is seeking a Senior Engineer with strong cloud expertise to join the Blast Networking Team in Mountain View. You will help redesign how Blast connections are established between client and server in cloud deployments, and drive improvements in networking and connectivity capabilities.

You will collaborate across teams, design scalable solutions, and contribute to automation and testing efforts to ensure reliable cloud native networking.

Qualifications

• Minimum 4+ years of experience in designing and coding in C or C++.
• Strong expertise in transport-layer networking, with deep knowledge of TLS, TCP, and UDP.
• Solid understanding of client-agent connection architectures in cloud deployments.
• Hands-on experience with WebRTC.

Responsibilities

• Drive the design and implementation of cloud networking solutions for Blast Protocol.
• Contribute to the redesign of client-server connection establishment for cloud deployments.
• Work on customer-facing technical challenges involving networking, connectivity, and reliability.
• Collaborate across teams on design discussions, implementation planning, testing, and rollout.
• Develop and maintain automation frameworks and workflows to support engineering efficiency.
• Participate in technical reviews and help ensure quality, scalability, and long-term maintainability.
• Help modernize and improve legacy technology stacks where needed.
• Apply cloud-native and container-based approaches to solve complex platform problems.
