Job summary

Mission Bridge Partners seeks an experienced Cloud Network Security Engineer to own the connectivity between a federal government customer’s on‑premises infrastructure and cloud environments (Azure and AWS). This is a fully onsite role in Washington, DC or Bethesda, MD, serving as the technical bridge between on‑premises and cloud teams.

Qualifications

• Active Top Secret clearance with SCI eligibility.
• U.S. citizenship required.
• Bachelor's degree in a related technical field or equivalent professional experience.
• 8+ years of overall network engineering experience.
• 5+ years of hands-on cloud networking configuration and troubleshooting.
• Strong understanding of TCP/IP, routing, switching, DNS, DHCP, BGP and VPN technologies.
• CompTIA Security+ certification.

Responsibilities

• Configure and maintain hybrid and multi-cloud networking components across Azure and AWS.
• Manage networks including VNets, ExpressRoute, Virtual WAN, VPCs, and Transit Gateways.
• Configure and manage firewall and network security policies across cloud and enterprise platforms.
• Perform firewall policy configuration, log analysis, and troubleshooting of complex connectivity issues.
• Design and optimize routing with BGP, route tables, and user-defined routes.
• Manage DNS configurations and IP address management across cloud environments.
• Deploy and maintain Private Link and Private Endpoint configurations.
• Monitor network health, performance, and security across on-premises and cloud environments.
• Develop IaC to enable repeatable network deployment.
