Job summary

S&P Global, Inc. is seeking a senior engineer to shape and secure the Google Cloud network across enterprise environments. You will design, deploy, and manage GCP networking services, implement automation, and drive security posture with centralized policy controls.

You will collaborate with Security, Infra, and Application teams to meet governance and compliance requirements while leading network improvements across cloud, data center, and hybrid setups.

Qualifications

• 10+ years in enterprise networking with hands-on cloud experience.
• Experience designing and operating Palo Alto VM-Series firewalls.
• Deep GCP networking experience including VPC/Shared VPC and Cloud services.
• Automation via Terraform and Python with Git version control.
• Strong understanding of BGP/OSPF and multi-cloud networking concepts.
• Able to work independently and with cross-functional teams.

Responsibilities

• Own the enterprise GCP network architecture and multi-cloud connectivity.
• Build Terraform modules and write Python/Ansible for network provisioning.
• Establish CI/CD pipelines for change delivery and policy checks.
• Deploy and manage Palo Alto VM-Series firewalls at scale.
• Drive network segmentation and security posture across cloud and on‑prem.
• Serve as senior technical authority for GCP networking and incident triage.
