Primary Responsibilities

1. Design, deploy, and manage scalable and secure AWS cloud network architectures.
2. Configure and manage VPCs, subnets, route tables, NAT gateways, and security groups.
3. Implement and manage AWS networking services such as ELB, Direct Connect, and Transit Gateway.
4. Implement robust security measures including network ACLs, security groups, and AWS WAF and CloudFront.
5. Conduct regular security assessments and audits to identify and mitigate potential risks.
6. Monitor network performance and troubleshoot issues to maintain optimal performance.
7. Develop and maintain automation scripts using Terraform, Ansible, or similar tools for network deployment and management.
8. Collaborate with DevOps, Security, and Development teams to support cloud-based applications and services.
9. Provide technical support and troubleshooting for AWS network issues.
10. Stay updated with the latest AWS networking technologies, trends, and best practices.

Required Qualifications

• High School Diploma/GED (or higher).
• 5+ years of experience in AWS cloud network engineering or a similar role.
• 5+ years of experience with network security practices and tools like WAF and CloudFront.
• 5+ years of experience in AWS networking services including VPC, Direct Connect, ELB, Transit Gateway, and Route 53.
• 5+ years of experience in scripting and automation tools such as CloudFormation, Terraform, Ansible, Python, etc.

The salary range for this role is $89,800 to $176,700 annually, based on full-time employment, with pay influenced by factors like local labor markets, education, experience, and certifications. Benefits include comprehensive packages, incentive and recognition programs, equity stock purchase, and 401k contributions, subject to eligibility.
