Job summary

Devopsroles is seeking a Senior Cloud Network Architect to lead the design and integration of hybrid cloud and tactical networks in support of DoD environments. You will drive secure, scalable cloud-enabled solutions across AWS and Azure, integrating RF, SATCOM, and terrestrial transport with SDN and network virtualization.

The role emphasizes RMF/Zero Trust, architecture documentation, and collaboration with government stakeholders, IPTs, and engineering teams.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Computer Science, Information Technology or related field.
• 10–15+ years of network engineering, architecture or systems integration experience.
• Deep DoD network architecture knowledge and hybrid cloud experience.
• Experience integrating enterprise cloud with tactical/edge networks.
• Strong routing/switching knowledge (BGP/OSPF/EIGRP/IS-IS) and L2/L3 networking.
• Experience with AWS and/or Azure cloud networking and hybrid connectivity.
• SDN and network virtualization experience, e.g., NSX or ACI.
• Cybersecurity, RMF/Zero Trust familiarity; ability to obtain Secret clearance.

Responsibilities

• Lead design of end-to-end hybrid cloud architectures aligning enterprise and tactical networks.
• Translate requirements into cloud-enabled network solutions and maintain architectures.
• Develop documentation, TDPs, test plans; support lab and field validation.
• Ensure RMF, DISA STIGs, and DoD cybersecurity compliance across designs.
• Interface with Government stakeholders and conduct technical reviews.
