Job summary

NETSEA Technologies is seeking a senior Cloud Network Architect to lead the design, integration, and sustainment of hybrid cloud and tactical networks for DoW environments. The role concentrates on converging enterprise cloud with edge and deployed networks to deliver secure, resilient communications across RF, SATCOM, and IP transport.

You will translate operational needs into scalable cloud-enabled solutions while ensuring compliance with cybersecurity standards and mission performance

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree required or higher in engineering, CS, IT, or related field.
• Master's degree preferred for senior roles.
• 10+ years of relevant DoD network engineering/arch/solutions integration experience.
• Strong knowledge of DoD network architectures and hybrid cloud environments.
• Experience with cloud networking in AWS/Azure and SDN/virtualization.

Responsibilities

• Lead design and development of end-to-end hybrid cloud architectures for enterprise, edge, and tactical networks.
• Translate operational requirements into cloud-enabled network solutions and architectures.
• Develop architectures aligned with Army baselines and modernization initiatives (WIN-T, T2C2, NGC2).
• Design and implement cloud networking across AWS and Azure (VPC/VNET, Transit, Direct Connect/ExpressRoute).
• Architect and integrate SDN and network virtualization (NSX, ACI).
• Integrate RF/SATCOM/terrestrial transport into hybrid cloud architectures.
• Implement overlay/underlay networks (VXLAN, SD-WAN, MPLS) across environments.
• Lead Zero Trust Architecture (ZTA) implementation with identity-based access and segmentation.
• Ensure RMF/DISA STIGs and DoD cybersecurity compliance.
• Support IPTs, SRR/PDR/CDR, and technical reviews with documentation.

Education

Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field
