Job summary

Diné Development Corporation (DDC) in the United States is seeking a Cloud Network Engineer Cloud SME to serve as the technical authority for complex, multi‑platform enterprise systems. You will guide executive-level teams and shape IT strategy across major DoD initiatives, including cloud, network, and security engineering.

The role requires hands-on Azure, AWS, OCI, and GCP experience, DoD cloud frameworks, and strong leadership and communication skills.

Qualifications

Ten years of experience in IT/engineering fields (DoD context preferred).
Active Secret clearance with SSBI (Tier 5) or Top-Secret clearance.
IAT Level III certifications (CASP+ CE, CCNP Security, CISA, CISSP, GCED, GCIH, or CCSP) or CCNP-E.
Expertise across Azure, AWS, OCI and GCP; DoD cloud frameworks (SCCA, VDMS, VDSS).
Enterprise routing, switching, and data center experience; IPv6, BGP, MPLS/LDP.
Advanced F5 ADC skills (LTM, GTM/DNS, APM) and DISA Storefront/CAP provisioning.
Strong RMF/ATO artifacts coordination and Zero Trust knowledge.
Excellent documentation and executive communication abilities.

Responsibilities

Serve as the senior technical expert on enterprise cloud, network, and security engineering efforts.
Support multi-cloud architectures across Azure, AWS, OCI, and Google Cloud.
Define enterprise standards for cloud integration and sustainment.
Lead executive-level project teams and develop technical alternatives for mission-critical challenges.
Engineer secure connectivity between DoD systems, SCCA, and cloud providers.
Provide Tier 3–4 support for F5 ADCs (LTM/GTM/DNS/APM).
Design break-and-inspect architectures aligned with DISA cloud security requirements.
Develop Layer 7 health monitors with CSPs and application teams.
Guide migration planning and ensure SCCA VDMS/VDSS compliance.
Analyze bandwidth and architecture impacts for cloud initiatives.
Manage CAP lifecycle with Circuit Manager for DISA Storefront procurement.
Produce engineering diagrams, network maps, and sustainment documentation.
Provide executive recommendations and participate in Integrated Product Reviews.
