Job summary

Selective Insurance in Charlotte, NC is seeking a Senior Software Engineer with Azure and .NET expertise to design, develop, and maintain cloud-based applications while leading a team of engineers.

You will mentor junior engineers, collaborate with cross-functional teams, and ensure the performance, quality, and timely delivery of features. Requires 5+ years in software development with strong ASP.NET, C#, SQL, and cloud experience.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
• 5+ years of experience designing and developing complex applications.
• Experience in C#, .NET, API development, and SQL.
• Experience with cloud-first architectures and related Azure services.
• Bare minimum knowledge of twelve-factor apps, microservices, REST, DevOps, CD, and SRE.
• Infrastructure-as-Code patterns with Bicep, ARM, or Terraform.
• Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
• Experience as a technical leader and mentor to engineers.
• Experience with agile teams and SAFe preferred.
• Angular experience and P&C insurance experience are a plus.

Responsibilities
