Job summary

SAIC is seeking a Senior Full Stack Cloud Native Developer in Colorado Springs, CO to design, build, deploy and sustain cloud-native applications across the full technology stack. You will work with software, data, DevSecOps, and systems engineers to rapidly prototype capabilities and transition them into operations.

The role emphasizes solving complex integration problems, delivering working software in short iterations, and contributing to architecture decisions within an Agile Scrum

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree (or higher) with 9+ years of experience; or Master's with 7+ years; PhD/JD with 4+ years.
• 10+ years of back-end web development (Python, Java, or C#).
• Front-end experience with React, Angular, or Vue, plus HTML5/CSS3.
• 4+ years CI/CD development, cloud-native development (AWS, Azure, or DAF Cloudworks).
• Experience with automated testing (unit, integration, load/performance, end-to-end) using JMeter, Selenium, Jest.
• Strong development skills with Git workflows and Agile/Scrum (JIRA, Scrum ceremonies).
• Proficient with Docker containers, Linux, and microservices.
• Active TS/SCI clearance.

Responsibilities

• Design and build modern cloud-native applications with responsive front ends and scalable backends.
• Deploy and manage microservices using Kubernetes, REST/GraphQL, Kafka.
• Collaborate with data engineers on data pipelines and analytics integration.
• Work with cyber engineers on authentication and security tasks.
• Develop automated CI/CD pipelines with DevSecOps.
• Participate in architecture decisions and Agile Scrum ceremonies.
• Mentor junior developers and conduct code reviews.
