Job summary

SAIC is seeking a Senior Full Stack Cloud Native Developer in Colorado Springs, CO to design, build, deploy, and sustain cloud-native applications for mission-critical systems. You will work with software engineers, data engineers, DevSecOps, and systems engineers to rapidly develop prototype capabilities into operational solutions.

The role emphasizes end-to-end lifecycle involvement, architecture reviews, and Agile Scrum practices, with a focus on security and scalable performance.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree and 14+ years of experience, or Master’s with 12+ years, or advanced degree with 9+ years.
• 10+ years backend web development with Python, Java, or C#.
• Frontend experience with React, Angular, or Vue, plus HTML5/CSS3.
• 4+ years CI/CD and cloud-native development (AWS, Azure, or DAF Cloudworks).
• Experience with automated testing: unit/integration/load/end-to-end (JMeter, Selenium, Jest).
• Strong Git/branching workflows and Agile/Scrum (JIRA, Scrum ceremonies).
• Proficient with Docker, Linux, microservices.
• Active TS/SCI clearance.

Responsibilities

• Design and implement cloud-native applications including responsive front ends and scalable backends.
• Build, deploy, and manage microservices with Kubernetes and REST/GraphQL APIs.
• Create event-driven data pipelines and collaborate with data engineers.
• Implement security tasks with cyber engineers (e.g., authentication, Trivy scans).
• Develop automated CI/CD pipelines with DevSecOps teams.
• Contribute to architecture decisions, design reviews, and Agile Scrum processes.
• Troubleshoot, optimize performance, mentor juniors, and review code.
