Job summary

Equifax is seeking experienced software engineers to build cloud-native microservices and big data solutions. You will collaborate with architects, SREs and cross-functional teams to deliver scalable systems on GCP/AWS/Azure using Java, SpringBoot, and modern DevOps practices.

You will mentor engineers, drive architecture decisions, and contribute to end-to-end ownership from design to deployment, including automation, security and performance KPIs.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience
• 7+ years of software engineering experience
• 7+ years experience writing, debugging, and troubleshooting code in Java, SpringBoot, TypeScript/JavaScript, HTML, CSS
• 7+ years experience with Cloud technology: GCP, AWS, or Azure
• 7+ years experience designing and developing cloud-native solutions
• 7+ years experience designing and developing microservices using Java, SpringBoot, GCP SDKs, GKE/Kubernetes
• 7+ years experience deploying and releasing software using Jenkins CI/CD pipelines, IaC concepts, Helm Charts, Terraform

Responsibilities

• Demonstrate a deep understanding of cloud-native, distributed microservice architectures
• Collaborate with architects and SRE leads on strategic technical direction
• Mentor and develop junior and senior engineers
• Ensure compliance with security and DevOps KPIs
• Define and report SLA/SLOs in partnership with product and engineering
• Lead Sprint planning and retrospectives
• Drive architecture decisions for product features and EOSL
• Create technical presentations for varied stakeholders
• Perform R&D and PoCs of cloud-native solutions
• Design and develop cloud-native and big data solutions using Dataflow/Beam, BigQuery, PubSub, GCS, Airflow
