Job summary

Echo Global Logistics in Reno, NV is seeking a Senior Software Engineer who will architect and deliver cloud-native, high-performance microservices on AWS. You will champion serverless-first patterns, drive platform modernization, and mentor engineers across teams.

You will own complex technical domains, influence engineering standards, and collaborate with Distinguished Engineers, architects, and product leadership to align technical decisions with business strategy.

Qualifications

Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science or related technical field.
At least 5 years of professional software development experience.
Strong proficiency in GoLang, React, Python.
At least 3 years of experience with AWS cloud services and serverless architectures.
Proven experience leading technical design and architecture decisions.

Responsibilities

Architect and deliver cloud-native solutions that advance platform modernization.
Drive serverless-first patterns and modern engineering practices.
Mentor engineers across the organization and conduct rigorous code reviews.
