Job summary

Echo Global Logistics, Inc is seeking a Senior Software Engineer to architect and deliver cloud-native, serverless-first solutions that transform our platform. You will mentor engineers, drive architectural decisions, and lead AI/ML integration patterns to improve reliability, scalability, and security.

You will be an expert in GoLang and Python, building high-performance microservices on AWS and guiding teams through architectural reviews.

Qualifications

Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science or related technical field.
At least 5 years of professional software development experience.
Strong proficiency in GoLang, React, Python.
At least 3 years of experience with AWS cloud services and serverless architectures.
Proven experience leading technical design and architecture decisions.
Experience mentoring and coaching engineers.

Responsibilities

Architect and deliver cloud-native solutions that advance platform transformation.
Lead technical initiatives and establish patterns for AI/ML integration.
Mentor engineers and drive code quality through reviews and standards.
Own complex technical domains and influence engineering decisions.
Communicate technical concepts effectively to diverse audiences and build consensus.
