Job summary

Fuze Health Inc. is seeking a Senior Security Engineer to strengthen security across cloud, on‑prem, and container platforms. You will collaborate with multiple teams to promote strong security controls, review designs, and drive automation using Python.

Requirements include 4+ years in security engineering, Kubernetes expertise, scripting skills, and a BS degree in Computer Science or related field; certifications such as CISSP/CCSP/GIAC/OSCP are a plus. Travel may be required.

Qualifications

• 4+ years of experience in security engineering, focusing on infra, application and cloud security.
• Hands-on experience securing Kubernetes in production environments.
• Proficiency in scripting/automation (Python, Bash, Terraform or similar).
• Comfortable in a fast-paced environment with clear communication.
• Experience building/maintaining security systems in cloud and on-prem environments.
• Hands-on security tooling: firewalls, IDS/IPS, log management, authentication systems.
• Experience with network security and monitoring tools; CIS/NIST/OWASP practices.
• Travel within the US may be required on an irregular basis.
• BS degree in Computer Science or related field; relevant certifications (CISSP, CCSP, GIAC, OSCP).

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with many teams to promote security controls and conduct architectural reviews.
• Review designs to assess security posture and advise architecture from threat modeling.
• Develop automation using Python and other tools to integrate security systems.
• Write documentation including policies and procedures.
• Oversee vulnerability scanning across networks, containers and cloud environments.
• Design and implement infrastructure security controls for servers, cloud, and containers.
• Support compliance initiatives (HiTrust, ISO 27001) from a security perspective.
• Assist with external audits and vendor assessments; participate in on-call shifts.
