Job summary

Bottleless Nation is seeking a Senior Systems Administrator to support, secure, and improve our cloud-centered IT environment.

This role covers Azure infrastructure, Microsoft 365, Entra ID, SQL administration, disaster recovery, DNS and SSL/TLS, and ongoing operational governance.

Ideal candidates will work independently, troubleshoot complex issues, document processes, and help scale our systems with secure, reliable operations.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of systems administration experience.
• Strong experience with Microsoft 365 and Entra ID.
• Hands-on experience with Azure infrastructure.
• Experience with SQL Server administration.
• Knowledge of disaster recovery planning and testing.

Responsibilities

• Maintain disaster recovery plans, procedures, and runbooks.
• Administer Azure VMs, storage, networking, backups, and security.
• Manage SQL Server backups, restores, and security.
• Provide Level 2 technical support for incidents and access governance.
• Administer DNS records and SSL/TLS certificates for services.
• Monitor infrastructure and respond to alerts and incidents.
• Automate tasks and improve operational processes.
• Document systems, changes, and root-cause resolutions.
