Job summary

Amtex Enterprises is seeking an experienced Infrastructure Cloud Engineer in Trenton, NJ, with hybrid work on-site for three days a week. You will lead design, development, deployment, maintenance, and monitoring of cloud infrastructure, focusing on AWS/Azure, IaC, data pipelines, and AI/ML capabilities.

The role requires strong Python/PySpark skills, experience with Terraform/CloudFormation, and a track record in managing cloud environments and projects.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a quantitative field as listed in the education section.
• Minimum 5 years of Cloud Engineering experience with proven AWS and/or Azure infra.
• Experience supporting cloud application environments and infrastructure.
• Experience with Linux and Windows environments.
• Experience with IaC using Terraform and/or CloudFormation.
• Strong Python and PySpark skills.
• Experience with Generative AI and LLMs.
• Ability to perform root cause analysis on cloud infrastructure.
• Strong project management and leadership of technical projects.
• Experience with relational SQL and NoSQL databases including PostgreSQL.
• Experience with data pipelines and AWS Glue, Lambda, EventBridge.
• Experience with AWS/Azure services including EC2, Bedrock, SageMaker, EMR, RDS, Redshift.
• Programming/scripting in Python and Java.

Responsibilities

• Lead design, development, deployment, maintenance and monitoring of cloud infrastructure.
• Research, design, develop, test and evaluate systems that support cloud implementation and integration with providers.
• Follow established engineering and cloud best practices while delivering reliable infra.
• Collaborate with teams to ensure scalable, secure and compliant cloud environments.
