Job summary

eSentire, Inc. is seeking a Senior Software Engineer to join their infrastructure team in the United States. This role involves designing and maintaining AWS cloud infrastructure, primarily utilizing Terraform.

The ideal candidate will possess extensive AWS experience, strong skills in shell scripting, and proficiency in Python or Go. Essential responsibilities include building production infrastructure, collaborating with engineering teams, and enhancing operational efficiencies.

Qualifications

• Extensive experience with AWS services: VPC, IAM, EC2, ECS/EKS, Lambda, S3, RDS, CloudWatch.
• Strong hands-on experience with Terraform for production infrastructure.
• Proficiency in shell scripting and either Python or Go.

Responsibilities

• Design and maintain AWS infrastructure using Terraform.
• Develop reusable Terraform modules and establish module standards.
• Build automation tooling using shell scripting and Python or Go.
• Monitor and troubleshoot AWS services.
• Improve reliability, scalability, security, and cost-efficiency of infrastructure.
