Job summary

Google Cloud, Mandiant is seeking an Senior Incident Response Security Consultant to lead advanced investigations and incident response engagements. You will work with clients to detect, contain, and resolve breaches at scale, including threat hunting, forensics, and crisis management.

The role requires traveling up to 30% and collaborating with cross-functional teams to translate findings for technical staff, executives, and legal counsel.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience.
• 5 years of end-to-end incident response investigations.
• 5 years of investigative experience with network forensics, malware triage, cloud forensics, or disk/memory forensics.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with internal and customer teams to investigate and contain incidents.
• Recognize and codify attacker Tools, Tactics, and Procedures (TTPs) and Indicators of Compromise (IOCs).
• Conduct host forensics, network forensics, log analysis, and malware triage to support investigations.
