Job summary
SHI International Corp. is seeking a Principal Architect – Cloud Foundation to lead the design and delivery of enterprise-scale infrastructure modernization using VMware Cloud Foundation solutions.
This post-sales, remote role requires deep technical leadership, strong customer-facing consulting skills, and expertise in SDDC, automation, and hybrid cloud platforms. You will guide architecture, drive solution delivery, mentor other architects, and collaborate with sales and presales to scope
Qualifications
- Lead technical architecture and solution delivery for VMware Cloud Foundation projects.
- Provide architecture and delivery leadership for SDDC solutions, including VMware VCF 9.x, Cloud Management and Networking.
- Demonstrate expert-level scripting and programming skills in PowerShell/PowerCLI/Python/JavaScript.
- Apply extensive knowledge of DevOps methodologies, governance and security best practices.
- Leverage deep expertise in Kubernetes platforms and related technologies.
Responsibilities
- Lead the design and delivery of enterprise-scale infrastructure modernization initiatives.
- Serve as SME within the Cloud Foundation domain.
- Deliver configuration, implementation, and upgrade services within customer environments.
- Mentor and develop other architects and consultants.
- Partner with sales/presales to identify and close professional services opportunities.
