Job summary

Hitachi Vantara in Denver seeks a Cloud Foundation Architect to design, implement and govern a multi-cloud foundation across AWS and GCP. You will own cloud orgs, landing zones, IAM, network architecture, and guardrails to enable secure, scalable engineering at scale.

The role emphasizes enterprise cloud operating models, governance, and collaboration with global teams. Experience with AWS and GCP, security, cost management, and AI/ML cloud platforms is highly valued; this is a hybrid position

Qualifications

Expert-level experience designing and administering AWS Organizations, OUs, Control Tower, Landing Zones, SCPs, and multi-account environments.
Extensive experience with enterprise IAM, federated identity, RBAC, access governance, and cloud security architecture.
Expert knowledge of cloud network architecture including Transit Gateway, Shared VPCs, hybrid connectivity, DNS, and multi-cloud networking.
Experience designing and operating enterprise cloud foundations supporting dozens to hundreds of cloud accounts across business units.
AWS security, governance, identity, and cost management best practices.

Responsibilities

Design, implement, and govern Hitachi Vantara's multi-cloud foundation across AWS and GCP.
Define the enterprise cloud operating model, standards, and guardrails.
Ensure cloud environments are secure, scalable, and aligned with business objectives.
