Job summary

IDR, Inc. is seeking a Senior IT Financial Analyst in Colorado to lead planning, forecasting, and monthly closes. You will build models and dashboards focused on cloud consumption, present findings to senior leadership, and drive cost-saving initiatives with data-driven insights.

You should have a bachelor’s degree in finance/accounting/economics, 3+ years in finance, and 1+ year of Cloud FinOps experience. This role offers competitive compensation and comprehensive benefits.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics or related field.
• 3+ years of experience in an accounting/finance environment.
• 1+ year of Cloud FinOps experience.
• Experience building financial models and reporting for operational and performance metrics.
• Strong communication skills with experience presenting insights to leadership.

Responsibilities

• Lead annual budgeting and rolling forecast cycles, ensuring accurate and timely financial plans.
• Analyze monthly results and support accounting month-end close activities, including variance and performance insights.
• Build and maintain weekly/monthly models and dashboards for operational and financial KPIs, with emphasis on cloud consumption.
• Develop and deliver executive-level financial presentations with clear recommendations and business impact.
• Identify cost‑saving opportunities and long‑term value through hypothesis‑driven modeling, multi‑year agreements, and ad‑hoc analyses.
