Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or higher in a technical or finance-related field.
• 5–7 years in cloud financial management, FinOps, or cloud operations.
• 3+ years leading technical teams to achieve objectives.
• Hands-on with GCP and OCI cost-management tools.
• Experience building cost dashboards with native or third-party tools.
• Strong data analysis for cloud cost trends and actions.
• Familiarity with multi-cloud governance and tagging practices.
• Experience in regulated environments (FedRamp HIGH/NIST 800-53).
• Excellent collaboration and communication across teams.

Responsibilities

• Establish financial governance frameworks for GCP and OCI.
• Maintain awareness of cloud spend trends and budget burn-down.
• Create cost-tracking dashboards and real-time spending visibility.
• Manage cloud budgets across GCP and OCI to align with forecasts.
• Configure cost alerts to detect anomalies and prevent overspend.
• Identify cost-reduction opportunities through rightsizing and architectural refinements.
• Ensure robust tagging standards for cost allocation and reporting.
• Provide technical directions to ensure compliance with standards.
