Optomi, in partnership with a leading wealth management company, is seeking a hands‑on Azure Cloud Engineer to manage and optimize its cloud infrastructure. The role focuses on Azure platform operations, AKS, IaC, automation, security, monitoring, and cost governance.

The engineer will collaborate with Network, Security, Application, and Data Engineering teams to deliver scalable cloud solutions and drive reliability across production environments.

Competenze

• 4+ years of hands-on cloud engineering experience in Azure.
• Proficiency with Terraform and PowerShell and/or Python.
• Experience with CI/CD pipelines, Azure DevOps, and cloud monitoring.
• Understanding of Azure networking, identity, security, and cloud operations.

• Manage and troubleshoot Azure cloud infrastructure for reliability, performance and security.
• Administer AKS including cluster upgrades, scaling and maintenance.

Optomi, in partnership with a leading wealth management company, is seeking a hands‑on Azure Cloud Engineer to manage, optimize, and enhance its cloud infrastructure. This role focuses on Azure platform operations, Kubernetes (AKS), infrastructure automation, security, monitoring, and cost optimization. The engineer will collaborate with Network, Security, Application, and Data Engineering teams to deliver reliable, scalable cloud solutions.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage and troubleshoot Azure cloud infrastructure, ensuring reliability, performance, and security.
• Administer Azure Kubernetes Service (AKS), including cluster upgrades, scaling, and maintenance.
• Develop Infrastructure as Code (IaC) using Terraform and Bicep.
• Automate cloud operations using PowerShell and/or Python.
• Support CI/CD pipelines through Azure DevOps and GitHub Actions.
• Implement monitoring and observability using Azure Monitor, Log Analytics, and Grafana.
• Support identity management, security, and compliance through Microsoft Entra ID.
• Optimize cloud costs, resource utilization, and governance.
• Support Azure-hosted AI/agent workloads and provide secondary support for Snowflake, SQL Server, and PostgreSQL.

Required Qualifications

• 4+ years of hands‑on cloud engineering experience, primarily within Azure.
• Proficiency with Terraform and PowerShell and/or Python scripting.
• Experience with CI/CD pipelines, Azure DevOps, and cloud monitoring.
• Understanding of Azure networking, identity, security, and cloud operations.
• Experience troubleshooting production environments and collaborating across technical teams.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with Bicep, GitHub Actions, Grafana, and OpenTelemetry.
• Experience supporting AI/agent workloads on Kubernetes.
• Familiarity with Snowflake, SQL Server, or PostgreSQL.
