Job summary

MegazoneCloud US is seeking a Lead Full Stack Software Engineer to own the technical direction of large, multi-vendor cloud modernization programs. You will shape target architectures on AWS, review code, and ensure delivery patterns across teams, vendors, and client stakeholders.

This hands-on leadership role focuses on architecture, governance, and collaboration with executives, with hybrid or onsite work near Rochester NY, Irvine CA, or Frisco TX. Travel may be required for engagements.

Qualifications

• 8+ years of professional software or platform engineering experience with senior technical lead exposure.
• Solid hands-on knowledge of AWS services including Step Functions, Lambda, ECS Fargate, API Gateway, DynamoDB, S3, EventBridge, Bedrock.
• Proven track record delivering modernization of legacy apps into event-driven architectures.
• Ability to review code and artifacts in Python, Node.js/JavaScript, and Terraform with design-level feedback.
• Experience contributing to REST or GraphQL API contracts and catching integration issues early.
• Proven ability to evaluate FRDs/BRDs and translate requirements into deliverables.
• Executive presence and ability to engage VP-level and above in person.
• Experience managing offshore teams or partner delivery within large programs.
• Familiarity with architecture governance processes, including ARB or equivalent.
• Strong written and verbal communication; ability to drive architecture decisions in multi-team settings.
• Experience running Agile delivery (Scrum or Kanban) across multi-team programs.

Responsibilities

• Own the target-state architecture for the program, including event-driven and agentic designs on AWS.
• Set engineering standards and patterns for multiple teams to follow.
• Stay hands-on with reference implementations and architectural spikes.
• Review and shape code, architectures, and design artifacts to ensure high quality programs.
• Interact with senior client stakeholders to communicate architecture decisions and progress.
• Coordinate across vendors, offshore teams, and partner firms to deliver on schedule.
