Job summary

TRACTIAN is seeking a Senior Cloud Engineer in Atlanta to lead cloud infrastructure initiatives, focusing on AWS and OCI with occasional GCP/Azure work. The role emphasizes security, observability, and scalable automation across multi-cloud environments.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of hands-on cloud engineering or DevSecOps experience.
• Proficient with AWS and OCI; GCP/Azure preferred.
• Strong Kubernetes expertise and GPU workloads.
• IaC with Terraform; Helm, Docker, and AWS ECS.
• Experience with GitHub Actions and GitHub Enterprise.
• Monitoring with Datadog, Grafana, OpenTelemetry, Sentry.
• Security best practices and compliance (SOC2, ISO 27001).
• Strong scripting (Python, Bash, PowerShell).

Responsibilities

• Architect, implement, and secure scalable cloud infrastructure on AWS, OCI, with occasional GCP/Azure.
• Oversee CI/CD pipelines, enhancing them with GitHub Actions and GitHub Enterprise.
• Maintain Kubernetes clusters and AWS ECS, including GPU infrastructure management.
• Embed security measures and integrate advanced security tools.
• Implement observability with Datadog, Grafana, OpenTelemetry, Sentry.
• Use Jira for project management and issue tracking.
• Collaborate with engineering teams to drive secure development practices.
• Address vulnerabilities and security incidents promptly.
• Field DevOps / SRE intake queues.
• Migrate Kubernetes services from AWS EKS to OCI OKE with minimal disruption.
