OfferUp in Bellevue, WA is seeking a Senior Cloud Engineer to design, build, and operate cloud infrastructure, platform tooling, and CI/CD systems across AWS and GCP. You will own Terraform deployments, Kubernetes on EKS/GKE, and multi-account migrations.

You will lead security, observability, and cost optimization, mentor engineers, and advance AI/ML tooling. A BS in CS and 5–8 years of cloud experience are expected; remote Florida option noted.

Qualifications

• 5–8 years in cloud engineering, infrastructure, platform, DevOps, or SRE roles.
• Bachelor’s in Computer Science or related field, or equivalent practical experience.

Responsibilities

• Build cloud infrastructure as code with AWS/GCP, Terraform, and cost optimization.
• Own Kubernetes/GitOps platform (EKS/GKE, Envoy/Gloo, Helm, ArgoCD).
• Maintain CI/CD pipelines and monorepo tooling for backend services.
• Lead platform migrations end-to-end including observability, data-store, and security considerations.
• Drive operational excellence and security, including on-call, CVE remediation, and secrets management.
• Mentor engineers, set technical standards, and collaborate with other teams.
