Job summary

MANTECH is seeking a Senior Cloud Engineer to design, implement, and manage secure multi‑cloud infrastructures (AWS, Azure, GCP, OCI) in Chantilly, VA. You will focus on security monitoring, threat detection, and DevOps practices across diverse cloud environments.

The role emphasizes IaC, automation, and collaboration to address complex technical needs while maintaining compliance with DoD standards. Onsite work is required with a strong engineering culture and growth opportunities.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or 4+ years IT experience in lieu of a degree.
• 5+ years of experience in cloud computing with major providers (AWS, Azure, GCP, OCI).
• Experience designing and deploying multi‑cloud solutions across multiple providers.
• Proficiency with DevOps tools such as Azure DevOps, Jenkins, or Git.
• Proficiency with Infrastructure as Code tools like Terraform, Ansible, including one or more vendor‑native tools: CloudFormation or ARM/Bicep.
• Familiarity with template technologies including ARM, GitHub Enterprise, GitLab; TOGAF/Zachman.
• Experience automating workflows using scripting tools such as PowerShell, Bash, Python, YAML, JSON, or Ansible.
• DoD 8570 IAT Level 2 certification or ability to obtain within 6 months of hire.

Responsibilities

• Support multi‑cloud services and infrastructure across one or more enterprise cloud platforms using IaC tools.
• Troubleshoot multi‑cloud issues and implement cloud security best practices.
• Leverage multi‑cloud data and security services to ensure logging and compliance.
• Write automation scripts using PowerShell, Python, or CLI.
• Configure network security groups and controls to protect resources across clouds.
• Manage compute, storage, networking, and database services across clouds.
• Apply security best practices and collaborate across teams.
