Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Technology, or equivalent practical industry experience.
• 3 to 5 years of production-level cloud engineering, DevOps, or system administration configurations.
• Hands-on experience deploying, monitoring, and managing production workloads in major public clouds (AWS or GCP).
• Proficiency with backend development and scripting (Node.js, Python, Bash).
• Experience with Terraform and version control workflows.
• Familiarity with Docker and Kubernetes for containerised microservices.

Responsibilities

• Design, build, and maintain scalable, secure cloud infrastructure across enterprise environments.
• Develop and maintain IaC scripts using Terraform for automated provisioning.

You will collaborate closely with software engineering, security, and product teams to build highly available, secure, and cost‑optimised platforms.

What You Will Do

• Cloud Infrastructure: Design, build, and maintain scalable, resilient, and secure infrastructure solutions across enterprise cloud environments.
• Infrastructure as Code (IaC): Develop and maintain robust IaC scripts using tools like Terraform to ensure consistent and automated environment provisioning.
• CI/CD Automation: Build, optimise, and manage deployment pipelines to support rapid, continuous integration and delivery (CI/CD) for engineering teams.
• Backend Integration: Support application development and environments working closely with microservices and serverless components, with a strong focus on Node.js runtimes.

What You Will Bring

• 3 to 5 years of dedicated experience in production‑level cloud engineering, DevOps, or system administration configurations.
• Cloud Ecosystems: Hands‑on experience deploying, monitoring, and managing production workloads within a major public cloud environment (such as AWS or GCP).
• Application Stack: Strong proficiency with backend development and scripting tools, specifically including Node.js and its ecosystem alongside languages like Python or Bash.
• Automation Tools: Proficiency with Infrastructure as Code frameworks (specifically Terraform) and version control workflows.
• Containers & Microservices: Familiarity with containerisation technologies such as Docker and orchestration frameworks like Kubernetes.
