JPMorganChase is seeking a Lead Software Engineer within the Global Technology Infrastructure group to drive secure, scalable cloud platform capabilities on GCP. You will lead architecture and hands-on delivery, build automation, and implement identity federation with IAM governance across multi-cloud environments.

The role emphasizes secure coding, automated testing, and adoption of AI-assisted software development practices to improve quality and delivery speed.

Qualifications

• Formal training or certification on software engineering concepts and 5+ years applied experience.

Responsibilities

• Executes creative software solutions, design, development, and troubleshooting across complex problems.
• Leads architecture and delivery of GCP foundational platform capabilities (landing zones, org/folder/project hierarchy, networking, shared services).
• Builds reusable automation and paved roads (Terraform modules, CI/CD enablement) for secure onboarding.
• Owns GCP security guardrails: IAM/role engineering, service accounts, IAM Conditions, org policies, deny policies.
• Designs and implements identity federation and IAM governance automation for audit readiness.
• Drives adoption of enterprise AI-assisted engineering practices, ensuring secure coding, peer review, and test strategies.
